PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector plug capable of maintaining a superior connected state even if a tension is added thereto, in an optical fiber cable containing no tension fiber. SOLUTION: The connector plug 10 is the one attachable to the tip end of an optical fiber cable 100, which consists of a coated optical fiber 101 and a steel wire 102 surrounded with a jacket 103. The connector plug 10 is equipped with a ferrule 111 mounted on the coated optical fiber 101 projecting from the jacket 103 of the optical fiber cable 100; a housing 11 loaded with the ferrule 111; an attaching member 14 attached to the housing 11 and formed with a groove 14ca, into which the steel wire 102 is inserted projecting from the jacket 103 of the optical fiber cable 100; and a fixing member 15 engaged with the attaching member 14 and provided with a rib 15a, which is inserted into the groove 14ca so as to hold the steel wire 102 in the groove 14ca of the attaching member 14.
