A comb insert (4) is disclosed for a cosmetic brush (6) that has a bristle portion (14) with a twisted wire core (10) bent into a loop (16). The comb insert (4) has a base (32) with teeth (40) extending from at least one surface. The base (32) of the comb insert (4) is provided with a groove (42) that engages the core (10) of the brush (6) forming the loop (16) in interference fit to secure the comb insert (4) in the loop (16). |
