An arm (1) with two forks is attached to a shaft (3) on a bearing (4). The shaft is driven via a computer-controlled drive apparatus. A height adjusting device is provided. The bearing and height-adjusting device are mounted on a baseplate. Two adjustment screws (7a,7b) are provided at the ends of the forks to allow a fine adjustment of the height required to adapt the fork to the rear floor panel of the car.
