METHOD OF TRANSMITTING PLASMID, DNA OR DNA VACCINATION

PURPOSE: Provided is a method of transmitting plasmid, DNA or DNA vaccination into cells or tissues by using a biodegradable polymeric particle of 2 micrometer in its length and diameter as a carrier. CONSTITUTION: A gene or a gene vaccine is transferred into a cell or a tissue by using a carrier which is a biodegradable polymeric particle of 2 micrometer, preferably 0.3-1.5 micrometer, in its diameter and length. The gene or gene vaccine are coated on the biodegradable particles which are selected from the group consisting of polyglycolide, polylactide, polycaprolactone, polydioxanon, polyglycolate, polytrimethylenecarbonate, polylactate, poly(ortho ester), poly(anhydro), poly(phosphagen), poly(amino acid), chitosan, cellulose derivatives, poly(hydroxy butylate) and poly(saccharide).
