摘要 PURPOSE: A method of fabricating an alignment key of a thin film transistor liquid crystal display is provided, which forms the alignment key in a data line fabrication process to reduce error in alignment margin, to thereby improve picture quality and product yield. CONSTITUTION: A substrate(100) having a display space(50) and a non-display space(52) is prepared. The substrate is divided into the display space and the non-display space. A plurality of horizontal gate lines(56) each of which includes a metal gate electrode(54) are formed on the display space. Vertical data lines(58) intersecting the gate lines are formed together with source and drain electrodes(60,62) constructing a thin film transistor. An alignment key(68) is formed on the non-display space of the substrate when the data lines are fabricated.
