PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain an image processing system that is not dependent upon various computing devices and network environments in a network computing environment. SOLUTION: In this image processing system where the documents and images are transmitted and received between a document/image generator 10 and a document/image processor 20, the generator 10 holds a 1st processing program which is used for processing the document/image data and not dependent upon a program executing environment and transmits the link information used for extracting the 1st processing program together with the document/image data. The processor 20 receives the link information and the document/image data, reads the 1st processing program out of the generator 10 according to the link information and converts the 1st processing program into a 2nd processing program that can be executed by the processor 20 for processing the document/ image data.
