PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for easily locking a drawer not provided with a lock mechanism and to individually lock a plurality of drawers. SOLUTION: This locking device is provided with a cylindrical receiving part fixed close to the edge part of the drawer 61 of a desk body 60; a locking member 10 having a fitting part 11 insert-fitted into the receiving part 2, and a regulating part 16 for regulating the opening action of the drawer 61 over the desk body 60 and drawer 61, together with the fitting part 11; an engaging claw 23 provided at the fitting part 11 of the locking member 10 and engaged with the receiving part 2 out of detachment when the fitting part 11 is insert- fitted into the receiving part 2; a release mechanism 28 provided at the locking member 10 to release the engaged state of the engaging claw 23; and a key 36 for operating the release mechanism 28. An outer plate 45 is further provided for covering the periphery of the fitting part 11 while having a clearance part 47 for allowing the receiving part 2 to enter, between the outer peripheral surface of the fitting part 11 and the outer plate 45. |
