PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure limiter 18 for an accumulator fuel injection device capable of smoothly running a vehicle for turn out in an emergency turnout. SOLUTION: A damper chamber 70 for storing both the large diameter part 72 of a piston 56 and fuel is provided on the downstream side of a sliding hole 55 in a valve body 52 of a pressure limiter 18 connected liquid-tight between a common rail having an accumulating chamber for accumulating the high-pressure fuel delivered from a high-pressure feed pump and a relief pipe. Accordingly, the lowering speeds of a ball valve 54 and the piston 56 are suppressed when the ball valve 54 and the piston 56 are displaced to the valve closing side by the energizing force of the spring 58. Thus, since the lowering times of the ball-valve 54 and the piston 56 can be increased, the pressure to run the vehicle for turnout can be controlled at such a low regulated pressure as not to produce noise and knocking in an emergency when the high-pressure pump force-feeds an excessive amount of fuel. |
