PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stem where each semiconductor element is independently heat-radiated while occurrence of heat crosstalk is prevented as well even if a plurality of elements are mounted on the same stem. SOLUTION: The stem comprises a first heat conductor 25, a heat insulating part 26, a second heat conductor 27. Here, the first and second heat conductors 25 and 27 comprise, for example, soft steel of heat conductivity 51 W/m.K while the heat insulating part 26 comprises, for example, fluorine resin of heat conductivity 0.24 W/m.K. A semiconductor laser (LD) 21 is fitted to the first heat conductor 25 of the stem through a heat sink 22. A semiconductor laser driving IC (LD driving IC) 23 is fitted to the second heat conductor 27 of the stem. |
