PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for examining a failure of an information terminal, which save time and expense which are needed for repair by a user, and can also reduce the load on maintenance department. SOLUTION: This method for examining a failure of an information terminal, which examines the failure condition of an information terminal and transmits a solving means for solving the failure to the user through a network, includes a step in which the user converts the contents of the failure into a structured document with the information terminal in which the failure takes place and transmits the structured document to a clinic terminal connected to the information terminal via the network; a step in which the clinic terminal searches the solving means corresponding to the contents of the failure shown by the received structured document from a database, in which the solving means corresponding to the received structured document is previously stored; and a step in which the clinic terminal returns the searched solving means to the information terminal via the network. |
