摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element having a film with which a reflection preventing effect with respect to all rays in a wavelength region extending from ultraviolet region to visible ray region is obtainable and reducing influence of rays reflected on the surface, and to provide an ophthalmic lens reducing the light quantity of ultraviolet rays entering the inside of the eyes and protecting the eyes from ultraviolet rays. SOLUTION: The optical element is composed of a substrate and a film formed on at least a part of a surface of the substrate and essentially made of an inorganic substance, and is characterized by having reflectance with respect to all the rays in 280-800 nm wavelength region on the surface where the film is formed smaller than reflectance on the surface of the substrate itself. In the optical element sheet, surface resistance of the film is <=1 &Omega;/cm2 and the film is preferably formed on the image side surface of the substrate. The eyeglass lens is characterized by being formed with the optical element.
