<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interrogator antenna for a mobile body identification device that can emit an electromagnetic wave with a sufficient strength so as to ensure communication with an IC tag. SOLUTION: First and second antenna elements 16a, 16b consisting of a tip open line with about 1/4 wavelength are formed to both sides of a dielectric material 11. In this case, the 1st and 2nd antenna elements 16a, 16b form a tip open cross section 18 whose tips are crossed so as to concentrate radiation of an electromagnetic wave onto the tip open cross section 18. The 1st and 2nd antenna elements 16a, 16b are energized from a coaxial connector 12 via a microstrip line 14. Moreover, reflectors 17a, 17b, 22 are provided on both sides of the dielectric material 11 with an interval of about 1/4 wavelength from the 1st and 2nd antenna elements 16a, 16b.</p> |
