<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument information recognizing device, a measuring instrument information totalizing system and a method therefor capable of clearly reading characters and figures by preventing cameras themselves from being reflected on the images of the cameras. SOLUTION: This measuring instrument information recognizing device 1 includes a reading opening part 17, impage pickup cameras 11 and 12 arranged so as to peep at the outside from the reading opening part 17, a half mirror 13 arranged between the reading opening part 17 and the image pickup cameras 11 and 12, an illuminating means 10 for illuminating the outside from the reading opening part 17 and diffusively reflecting plates 14, 15 and 19 for diffusively reflecting the illuminating light emitted from the illiminating means 10 toward the half mirror 13, and the illuminating light irradiated from the illuminating means 10 is diffusively reflected by the respective diffusively reflecting plates 14, 15 and 19, and is cast on the front of a measuring instrument in the reading opening part 17 after being reflected by the half mirror 13.</p> |
