<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission method enabling data transmission and reception for ticket examination through short-range radio communications using a cellular communications terminal to be started through a simple operation without posing a burden on the user, and a cellular communications terminal using it. SOLUTION: The portable communications terminal, for connection with a public network to make communications and for making radio communications by establishing a predetermined radio communications path between the terminal and a partner device independently of the public network, causes pieces of ticket information about a ticket purchased via the public network to be stored in a storage means; after the operation of displaying the piece of ticket information stored in the storage means which it is desired to use is carried out, the ratio communications path is established between the terminal and the partner device; in this case, if the radio communications path is established between the terminal and another device, radio communications using that path is preferred to establish the radio communications between the terminal and the partner device.</p> |
