PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image plotting device capable of fast performing plotting processing by using a small-scale circuit in the case of repeatedly plotting a pattern image after enlarging the pattern image and applying shift processing to the pattern image. SOLUTION: A coordinate transformation information generating part 2 generates coordinate information in a pattern coordinate system corresponding to the origin of a plotting coordinate system on the basis of information inputted by a mapping information inputting part 1. A 1st coordinate transforming part 4 transforms the coordinates of the plotting coordinate system inputted from a coordinate inputting part 3 into the coordinates of the pattern coordinate system on the basis of the coordinate information generated by the part 2. The transformed coordinates becomes nonnegative. A 2nd coordinate transforming part 5 can further transform the coordinates of the pattern coordinate system transformed in the part 4 into coordinates within an image area due to a simple residue operation based on the height and width of the image. A plotting part 7 reads the pixel values of the pattern image from a storing part 6 by using the coordinates and performs plotting. |
