PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a rotary shaft member driven by an electric motor which has possibility to cause vibrations and swinging during rotation, and rotor rubs the stator which may extent a bad influence upon the motor operation because no support is provided at all at the motor side end of the shaft. SOLUTION: A externally mounted assembly 30 to support the rotary shaft member 2 driven by the electric motor 20 is provided. The assembly 30 includes a baring supporting member 12 installed on an approximately vertical plane and a bearing member 14 mounted on the bearing supporting member 12. The bearing member 14 is coupled with the rotary shaft member 2 and is able to support the member 2, and thereby it is practicable to decrease the vertically directed and horizontally directed extrinsic movements of the rotary shaft member 2 while the member 2 is allowed to rotate freely.
