PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which dispenses with heavy or bulky metallic plates, and readily, easily and efficiently reinforces a joint portion of a wooden building while sufficiently maintaining the strength and earthquake resisting performance thereof. SOLUTION: The method for reinforcing the joint portion of the wooden building is characterized by joining of the joint portion by using fibers containing only aramid fibers or bicomponent fibers (a) containing the aramid fibers and the other reinforced fibers, and a connecting member (b) selected from an adhesive and/or a nail, a screw, or a bolt and a nut.
