PURPOSE: An electronic commerce credit purchasing method on the Internet and a system therefor are provided so that credit purchasing can be performed between sellers and purchasers by enabling the purchasers to pay the selling price to the sellers through a virtual bank of a service provider. CONSTITUTION: A service provider(20) manages a virtual bank(21) including a web server connected to an Internet network(10). A seller(30) manages an electronic commerce web site such as a shopping mall, delivers the ordered goods to a purchaser(40) after performing a payment confirmation procedure through the virtual bank(21) of the service provider(20), and receives the price of the ordered goods from the virtual bank(21). After the purchaser(40) orders the goods in the shopping mall site of the seller(30), the purchaser(40) remits the price of the ordered goods to the virtual bank(21) of the service provider(20), and receives the goods from the seller(30) according to the payment confirmation through the virtual bank(21). At this time, the service provider(20) receives the price of the goods which the purchaser(40) orders in the shopping mall of the seller(30) from the virtual bank(21), demands the seller(30) to deliver the goods to the purchaser(40), and pays the price of the goods to the seller(30) through the virtual bank(21).
