PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for converting desired music into note data and providing them for the owner of an electronic music box. SOLUTION: A sound-recording medium such as a CD, MD, and a cassette tape or a musical score 21 where new music that the electronic music box owner, etc., has composed is recorded is sent to a note data supply side. The note data supply side produces note data by converting the notes of the music into a digital signal, stores the note data on a floppy(Registered) disk 24, and provides application software 26 which can transfer the note data of the floppy disk to the electronic music box 1 by using a personal computer 25 for the electronic music box owner. The electronic music box owner rewrites the data of notes in the memory by input from the floppy disk 24 to a semiconductor memory element 2 of the electronic music box 1 or an external memory device 8 by using a personal computer that the owner has. |
