PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall hanging mounting device for a communication device which has a structure wherein the laying operation of a cable is not required and the excess length of the cable is not visible from its external appearance. SOLUTION: The wall hanging structure is provided with a mounting metal fitting 1 by which a top-opened box-shaped device body 4 is hung on a wall so as to be installed and clips 6 which are fixed to the rear of the device body 4 and by which the device body 4 is hooked on the front of the mounting metal fitting 1 so as to be mounted. The mounting metal fitting 1 has a structure wherein the device body 4 is attached to the mounting metal fitting 1, an external connecting cable 5 derived from the device body 4 is connected to a wall plug socket, and the excess length of the cable is housed inside the mounting metal fitting 1.
