PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte additive having electrochemical stability for a lithium cell. SOLUTION: This is electrolyte made of inorganic electrrolyte salt containing lithium or organic electrolyte salt containing lithium dissolved in non-protic solvent and electrolyte containing silane compound of general formula I as an additive. SiR1R2R3R4 (I) [R1 to R4 are H, CyF2y+1-zHz, OCyF2y+1-zHz, OC(O) CyF2y+1-zHz, OSO2CyF2y+1-zHz, respectively, 1<=x<6, 1<=y<=8, O<=z<=2y+1, and each of R1 to R4 is not substituted or an aromatic group ring selected from phyenyl and naphthyl substituted by groups of F, CyF2y+1-zHz, OCyF2y+1-zHz, OC(O)CyF2y+1-zHz, OSO2CyF2y+1-zHz or N(CnF2n+1-zHz)2 or a heterocyclic aromatic group ring selected among pyridyl, pyrazyl and pyrimidyl substituted by the groups].
