PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illegal software use prevention system capable of preventing a person other than an approved user from reproducing data from a copied information recording medium. SOLUTION: The system is constituted of an intrinsic parameter acquiring part 12 for extracting intrinsic information peculiar to a user from user information provided by the user, a scramble key calculation part 13 for calculating a scramble key from the extracted intrinsic parameter, a descrambling program extraction part 14 for extracting a descrambling program included in recording data supplied (reproduced) from a recording medium purchased by the user, and a descrambling processing part 15 for applying prescribed descrambling processing to scrambled data included in the recording data by the descrambling program based on the scramble key and outputting descrambled data. |
