PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, even when a solar cell module is unexpectedly subjected to a stress at a magnitude lower than that giving a permanent deformation to a covering material and at the magnitude to an extent that there is a fear of an influence on a power generation performance, there is no means to recognize the stress on the basis of the change in its external appearance. SOLUTION: The solar cell module is provided with a photovoltaic element 2 and the covering material which covers the photovoltaic element 2. A microcapsule 6 whose color is changed in a region subjected to the stress exceeding a prescribed stress with reference to the prescribed stress prescribed within a range of a stress not generating the permanent deformation in the covering material (filler 3) is installed at the covering material.
