PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade strip clutch constituted that rust is prevented from occurring to a friction plate and a mating plate. SOLUTION: The internal part of a blade slip clutch having the friction plate 7 and the mating plate 6 brought into slide contact with the friction plate is formed into airtight structure by O-rings 11 and 12. A cover 9 for the blade slip clutch is provided with a gas injection valve 13 to fill the internal part of the blade strip clutch with active gas, and a gas discharge valve 14 to discharge gas from the internal part of the blade slip clutch. Inactive gas is injected from the gas injection valve 13, air is discharged from the gas discharge valve 14, and the internal part of the blade strip clutch is filled with inactive gas.
