PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestal deck which facilitates its dismantling and transportation to another location, and hardly produces looseness or a wobble between the pedestal deck per se and a beam or a joist below the same, and to provide a structure for setting the pedestal deck. SOLUTION: The pedestal deck 2 for installing equipment is fixed onto the joist 1 which is arranged like a frame in order to support a floor of a building. According to the pedestal deck 2, a plurality of pedestal units 3A, 3B,... each formed of a precast concrete slab are arranged in a single plane, and they are connected to each other by means of PC steel wires. The pedestal units 3A, 3B,... are arranged such that their joint portions 5 are placed on an upper side of the joist 1, and in this state the pedestal units 3A, 3B,... are fixed to the joist 1.
