PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning article for an air conditioner, capable of obtaining reliability over a long period of time, even when an already installed pipeline is used as is, on employing an HFC series refrigerant which is used newly. SOLUTION: In a pipeline cleaning method, where the article is inserted into the pipeline connecting the indoor machine and the outdoor machine of the air conditioner to sent the article by pressure and exclude foreign matters in the pipeline, the air conditioner cleaning article is constituted of a first article and a second article which are connected to each other.
