PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical molded article obtained by resin extrusion which prevents abrasion of a corner portion such as a stepping rail, and has sufficient strength at a low production cost. SOLUTION: The molded article obtained by resin extrusion is formed of a plurality of side materials 11a and reinforcing members. The side materials cover respective sides of a corner portion 102a in a manner intersecting each other. The reinforcing members are erected from the respective side materials 11a toward the corner portion 102a and have their ends connected to each other, to thereby form a hollow portion 12 together with the side materials 11a. Both ends of the side materials 11a may be formed into hollow portions 13 and 14, respectively. Further, in producing the molded article, if cellulosic powder is mixed with a resin and the resultant mixed material is melted and extruded, the resultant woody mold article is enhanced in design value.
