PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reader that limits an EMI radiation level within a restricted value without the need for countermeasures on a component structure and satisfies suppression of an image noise so as to prevent the occurrence of line synchronization deviation. SOLUTION: In the image processing process, the processing process by a first circuit block B1 applies no frequency spread processing to a clock signal and the processing process by a second circuit block B2 other than the first block applies spread processing to the clock signal. Thus, the production of the image noise in the processing process where high contribution rate is given to the production of the image noise so as to bring the EMI radiation level within the specified value. Furthermore, providing a buffer memory 20 between the first circuit block B1 and the second circuit block B2 synchronizes lines so as to exchange image data in an excellent way.
