PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor, a method for forming images, a image forming device and a process cartridge such that the method for electrification produces little ozone or nitrogen oxides and consumes small electric power and that stable image formation can be performed for a long time. SOLUTION: The device for image formation is equipped with an electrophotographic photoreceptor having at least a charge generating layer, charge transfer layer and charge injection layer successively laminated on a conductive supporting body and with an electrifying member disposed in contact with the electrophotographic photoreceptor, and the electrophotographic photoreceptor is electrified by injecting charges by applying voltage on the electrifying member. The electrophotographic photoreceptor features that the charge injection layer comprises conductive fine particles, charge transfer material and resin and that the resin of the charge injection layer is the same as the resin of the charge transfer layer. The method for forming images, the image forming device and the process cartridge use the above photoreceptor.
