The invention relates to a vibration and expansion compensating filling material made of a rubber granulate, powered clay, and hydraulical bonding agents. According to the invention, an aqueous suspension containing powered clay is initially formed in an intensive mixing process. The rubber granulate is then mixed with the suspension. An inorganic, hydraulic binding agent is added to the mixture or one of the components, either during the mixing process or after for subsequent solidification. Said mixture can be used in a particularly simple manner, without compaction, for producing horizontal or vertical walls with tensional or vibratory absorption qualities.
