<p>Dissociated B. pertussis fimbriae are described. A conjugate of an antigen and a B. pertussis fimbrial protein is prepared by dissociating B. pertussis fimbriae into fimbrial protein subunits and conjugating the antigen to the fimbrial protein subunits. The subunits are optionally denatured as well. The conjugates are used in vaccines.</p> |
