<p>The invention relates to an adapter sleeve (120) that is used for mounting or exchanging working sleeves that carry printing forms on driven king rolls of printing presses which king rolls are preferably configured as air cylinders and provided with a jacket. Said adapter sleeve (120) can be axially slid onto the jacket of the king roll and can be removed therefrom. When mounted, the body of the adapter sleeve supports the working sleeve with its outer jacket. For mounting the adapter sleeve (120) hydraulic tensioning elements are integrated into the sleeve and are configured on the interspaced sleeve elements (121, 122) in the form of annular elements (151, 152) that are disposed on the interior of the sleeve elements (121, 122). The tensioning elements provide an anti-twist stop for the adapter sleeve (120) and the king roll in the operative state. The inventive adapter sleeves (120) can be used on any king roll and it is not necessary to make any structural or constructive modifications to the printing press. Adapter sleeves (120) of any width can be used on the king roll since all means provided for the anti-twist mounting are an integral part of the sleeves.</p> |
