PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor for digital radio demodulation, capable of suppressing power consumption by irreducibly minimizing the action of access to a coefficient ROM. SOLUTION: Concerning the information processor for digital radio demodulation, which is composed of a multistage finite impulse response (FIR) filter, for arithmetically processing an entry with a coefficient read out of the coefficient ROM by access operation to the coefficient ROM, this device is provided with a deciding means, which is composed of a comparator 21 and a counter 22, for detecting the lapse of a prescribed time in a state with no input value and deciding whether the access operation to the coefficient ROM is to be required and a control circuit 23 for omitting filtering processing by means of the FIR filter, corresponding to the output of the deciding means composed of the comparator 21 and the counter 22. |
