PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize condensate produced in an outdoor unit for humidification in an air conditioner. SOLUTION: A humidifying unit 4 is disposed in a lower part of the outdoor unit 41, condensate adhering on an outdoor heat exchanger 13 is collected in a drain pan 43, and the condensate is absorbed by gauze 58 via an inlet pipe 56. Moisture of the gauze 58 is absorbed by air current in the direction of an arrow A; the air current is made to get into contact with a water-absorbing element 52; moisture adhering on the water-absorbing element 52 is extracted by a heater 53; and humidified air is supplied into a room by a humidifying side fan 54. |
