PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a ferritic stainless steel sheet excellent in high temperature strength and magnetic properties and used for a television cathode-ray tube support frame material or the like. SOLUTION: In this method for producing a ferritic stainless steel sheet excellent in high temperature strength and magnetic properties, ferritic stainless steel having a composition containing, by mass, 11 to 14% Cr, <=0.08% C, <=1.0% Si and <=1.0% Mn, if required, further containing <=0.5% Ni and <=0.025% N, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities is hot-rolled, thereafter, this steel sheet is coiled at >=65O deg.C, and further, the steel sheet after the coiling is annealed in the temperature range of 650 to 800 deg.C for >=10 min and is subsequently cold-rolled at a draft of 5 to 20%. |
