PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paperless, accurate, quick, simple, and low-cost trade settlement system which gives the effect equivalent to conventional system to persons concerned with trade without intervention of a bank on the exporter side by using the Internet with respect to trade transactions which are conventionally performed on the paper base with intervention of banks. SOLUTION: Each person concerned with trade who participates in this system directly accesses a web site of a bank operating this system to not only transfer the title to trade cargo but also input a trade condition. This bank confirms agreements of conditions inputted by respective persons and transfer of a title owner to cargo to pay the price to an exporter. Thereafter, the system performs settlement with an importer and transfers the title to imported cargo to the importer. Since the bank operating this system directly pays the export price also to the exporter, intervention of the bank on the exporter side is unnecessary. |
