STRUCTURE OF FIXING FLAT MEMBER TO SHAFT, AND ITS FIXING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple fastening means not to impair reliability in relation to fixing of a flat member and a shaft member. SOLUTION: A flange (6-2) of the small diameter stepped part of the end part of a shaft member has thickness thinner than that of the thickness of the flat member (4) securely engaged with a step from the outside diameter surface of a groove part and a small hole (4-1) for engagement of the flat member has a cylindrical peripheral edge part (4-2) and the tip of the cylindrical peripheral edge part has a difference in a longitudinal level and is preferably formed in an uneven non-plane shape forming a plurality of edges. The cylindrical edge part of the small hole communicates with the deep end of the conical recessed part of the flat member or the waveform molded parts of inside and outside. Its fixing method comprises a process wherein the small step part of a shaft member is inserted in the cylindrical peripheral edge part of the small hole formed in the flat member, the cylindrical peripheral edge part of the small hole is fitted in a groove-form small step part; a process wherein the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical peripheral edge part of the small hole is pressurized in the direction of the center for deformation; a process wherein the surface on the shaft end side of the flange is pressurized axially for deformation; and a process wherein the waveform molded part or the conical recessed part communicating with the cylindrical peripheral edge of the small hole formed in the flat member is also pressurized for deformation.
