PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently distribute information for providing a communication service to a mobile node to corresponding communication equipment on a mobile IP network. SOLUTION: A mobile node 51 stores a link update message and an AMR message in the option header of an IPv6 packet and sends that packet to a home agent 21. This packet is transferred temporarily to an AAAH 22. The AAAH 22 authenticates the mobile node 51 on the basis of the AMR message, stores the link update message and the service profile of the mobile node 51 in the option header of the IPv 6 packet, and sends the packet to the home agent 21. The home agent 21 registers the position of the mobile node 51, stores the service profile in the option header of the IPv6 packet and sends that packet to the mobile node 51.
