PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform stable control of an electric brake by making the best of the brake up to a stop, even if the revolutions of a motor decrease sharply by the slip of a wheel shaft that occurs shortly before stop. SOLUTION: This control device is provided with a stop speed detector 10, that inputs a brake command 'fb' and a reference rotational speed signal Fr and outputs a speed flag 'fv' that is turned on, when the signal Fr is larger than a torque current fall start speed FrO at braking, while the brake is applied; a speed presuming device 11 that inputs 'fb', Fr, an excited current command Idp and a torque current pattern Iqp and outputs a presumed rotational speed signal Fe in the case of deceleration by the maximum decelerating speed when Fr drops below a set value Frb, while the brake is applied; a comparator 12 that outputs a stop-detection incapable flag 'fd' that is turned on, when Fe is larger than FrO; and an OR circuit 13 that outputs an electric brake permit flag 'fa' from the OR operation of 'fv' and 'fd'. The flag 'fa' is outputted, and no stop detection is performed from the time when Fr becomes lower than Frb, until it drops below FrO.
