PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater which is reformed to suppress the occurrence of noise accompanying the operation of itself, and to provide tits regulation method. SOLUTION: This heater 1 is provide with evading rotation speed range setting switch 61 of the DC motor 20 of a pump 19. This switch 61 for setting the limits of evasive number of revolutions sets the range of the user not being able select the number as the command rotation speed of the DC motor 20 of the pump 19. In trial operations, normal operation is performed in a room where a heat source unit is installed actually, and noise is measured by specified method. Then, the resonant rotation speed is grasped above a certain noise level, and the rotation speed range is set with the switch 61. Hereby, the DC motor 20 will not perform steady operation within the rotation speed range.
