PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a flame occurring from a sidewall, extending longitudinal in plan view from lifting or blowing out. SOLUTION: A vaporizing cylinder 16 is disposed in a substantially flat plane shaped combustion chamber 22 having a longitudinal direction and the lateral direction in plan view, at a lower portion of which cylinder there are disposed a scattering ring 18 for scattering a liquid fuel into the combustion chamber 22 and an air feed guide ring 19, that forms an air feed gap S between it and the scattering ring 18. An air feed cylinder 23 is provided in a gas chamber 25 around a lower portion of the vaporization cylinder 16, air from which cylinder is supplied into the combustion chamber 22 through the air feed gas S. The air feed cylinder 23 is adapted, such that one located on the side of the lateral direction is set in a flow passage cross section and an outer configuration than other air feed cylinder 23, whereby flame injected from a burner port 26B of the long side sidewall 15B is prevented from being lifted and blown off.
