PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital image forming device with excellent usability that can output image information subjected to file management without the need for reading an identification code. SOLUTION: The digital image forming device that is provided with a scanner 1 reading an image on an original, an internal storage device 4 and/or an external storage device 5 that store the read image information, and a write unit 9 that forms an image on the basis of the stored image information, is provided with a memory controller included in a main control section 10 that stores an identification code on an original read by the scanner 1 to the storage devices 4, 5 in cross-reference with the image information corresponding to the identification code, an operation section 7 that receives the identification code, and the main control section 10 that reads the image information corresponding to the identification code from the storage devices 4, 5 when receiving the identification code from the operation section 7 and allows the write unit to output the image corresponding to the image information.
