PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating machine, such as a motor and generator, having small connection or crossover sections and formed out of stator windings of wiring constitution excellently easy to assemble with reliability, and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: In this rotating machine, the winding order of two or more coils continuously wound is changed for each phase to make the rise positions of terminals different from each other for each coil group of the respective phases. It is thus possible to prevent the interference of crossovers of the respective phases in assembling a stator, enhance ease of assembly, and enhance phase-to-phase insulation reliability by separately disposing the respective crossovers.
