LABELED CHIP CARD

The inventive chip card comprises a plastic card body (1) whose two sides are provided with recesses for accommodating labels (3, 4). The chip (7) is located on top of a glass-epoxy film (6) inside a relief of the card body. The label is applied to the rear side of the glass-epoxy film between edges (21) of the card body and edges (52) of top-side contacts (5).
