DEVICE FOR THE ADJUSTMENT OF BORING TOOLS

The device finds application for the automatic adjustment by size and tuning of boring tools used in NC machine tools. Its utilization ensures precision and accurate tuning, without cessation of the automatic cycle and guaranteed automatic control. The tuning is made by radial shifting of the boring tool (3) by means of an adjustment screw (5) with a profile hole. On the machine desk a disk (22) is fitted with eccentrically fitted, in respect of the axis of revolution, an axial mobile element (25), secured against any revolving towards its axis, its profile end being inserted in the profile hole of the adjustment screw (5) for radial shifting of the tool (3) of the boring instrument at a value determined by the synchronized shifting along two of the linear axes of the NC control system. 1 claim, 3 figures
