The motor has a housing (2), a circuit board (3), flexible electrical leads (5) and setting plastic at least partly filling the housing cavities and fully encapsulating the leads at least where they change direction. The setting material alone ensures that the flexible leads are held in all directions, whereby the connections are not required to absorb or transfer any mechanical forces, especially strain forces. Independent claims are also included for the following: a method of manufacturing an electric motor.
