After allowing a 3-state transmission circuit to transit from a high impedance status to a data output status and transmitting a preamnble (dummy data) to a bus, regular data are transmitted sequentially to a bus. A reduction in waveform period occurring for the first data after the transition from a high impedance status to a data output status is applied to a preamble but not to regular data after the preamble. A reduction in waveform period lifts a restriction on a faster data transfer.
