PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of photocatalytic reaction by changing the photoresponse wavelength region of TiO2 in a method for manufacturing a photocatalytic thin film. SOLUTION: In this method, the visible ray response type titanium oxide thin film is manufactured by allowing a transition metal to thermally diffuse into titanium dioxide (TiO2) thin film deposited by a laser-assisted vapor deposition method. The photoresponse wavelength of the thin film is 600-250 nm. |
