PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium realizing a data management method capable of changing a time zone expressing an area where data are recorded and also performing the time differential correction of data recorded time infor mation accompanied by the changing of the time zone and also capable of reproducing a local time even after the time zone is changed or a data manage ment method capable of performing the time differential correction without changing the time zone and its recorder and reproducer. SOLUTION: This recording medium is recorded with at least N pieces (where, N is the integer of >=1) of data and, also, is recorded with control management information (VMGI) managing the N pieces of data and M pieces (where, M is the integer of >=1 and <=N) of data management information (VOB-GI) and the control management information (VMGI) has time zone information (TM-ZONE) expressing standard times of typical areas where the data are recorded and the data management information (VOB-GI) is provided with data recorded time information (REC-TM) expressing the times when the data are recorded and time zone subsidiary information (TM-ZONE-SUB).
