PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion apparatus, capable of causing a user to reliably understand the extinguishing time of the combustion apparatus by varying a displaying combustion remaining time from a minute unit to a second unit, in a control device for the burning apparatus to display a combustion remaining time, when fuel in an oil pan is decreased to a value lower than a given value and to effect combustion by limiting the combustion amount. SOLUTION: In case a combustion remaining time, starting from a time when it is detected by an oil level sensor that liquid fuel in an oil pan decreases to a value lower than a given amount and ending to the time, when combustion stoppage is displayed, and when a combustion remaining time displayed by a display switching means is sufficient, a display time of a display part is displayed in a minute unit. By displaying the combustion remaining time in a minute unit, when the combustion remaining time is reduced, by making a user understand the timing at which extinguishement is effected, facility can be remarkably improved markedly.
